Do I have a leak?

Do I have a leak?

If left unaddressed, water leaks (however small) can be devastating over time!.

We encourage all property owners and occupiers to be leak vigilant.

Feel free to contact us (for a no obligation chat), prior to deciding if you think your problem may be leak related.

In the meantime, our 10 point checklist below, should help you arrive at the right conclusion:
  • Has the apparent moisture level in the property suddenly changed?
  • Is there a background or obvious smell of: mould, putrid water or decaying timber?
  • Has the typical water consumption suddenly and/or dramatically increased?.
  • Can you hear constantly running water when none should be-ie taps off?
  • Are there damp patches, spots, mildew, mould or tide marks on the floor or walls?
  • Does your boiler/heating system continually lose pressure, require refilling or frequently needs bleeding?
  • Are wooding floors starting to lift, warp and deform?
  • Do tiles appear to be detaching from their adhesive backing, make a hollow noise when tapped or is the grout discolouring?
  • Has the water quality deteriorated; taste or discolouration?
  • Is your water supply/plumbing/heating system making erratic or unusual noise?
